Exchanges & Returns
Items purchased from Vicki Lyn Michael's Jewelers may be returned for a store credit, when accompanied by the sales slip, within 30 days from the date of purchase. Merchandise must be unused and unworn, in original condition, and in the original gift box. Sale items, special orders, completed layaways, modified (including ring sizing) and/or custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. Gift recipients will be issued a merchandise credit only. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
Special orders are not returnable, and no exchange or credit can be made. All special orders require a nonrefundable deposit. A special order includes any jewelry, gemstone or gift item ordered at the client's request.
Articles may be placed on layaway for a maximum of 120 days with a minimum deposit of 20%. Completed layaways are not returnable or exchangeable. Layaways cancelled after 30 days of the original layaway are subject to a 20% restocking fee and the cost of any alterations.
Custom designed jewelry involves metal, gems and labor furnished by Vicki Lyn Michael's Jewelers for a specific client. As such, all custom jewelry is nonrefundable, and requires a 25% nonrefundable deposit before the work begins. Every effort is made by Vicki Lyn Michael's to accurately manufacture or produce the item(s) so ordered. Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the client's complete satisfaction. Minor adjustments, such as ring sizing or texturing, will gladly be made by Vicki Lyn Michael's to accommodate the wearer at either a modest fee or at no charge, depending on the extent of the work involved.
The diamonds in all VLM's pieces have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict in compliance with the United Nations resolutions. VLM's hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict-free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds.
Servicing and Cleaning
We will clean your jewelry (ultrasonic and steam) and check the settings free of charge. We recommend this be done at least twice a year. VLM is not responsible for the loss of stones due to worn prongs and settings when cleaning.
